Research

On going to town hall we decided the best way to obtain information about it would be to go in a large group and have each and everyone of us working on getting dimensions for geometry, light and sound. Once there we had planned to divide up into smaller groups to tackle different areas of the station. One group on each platform as well as one group on the concourse.
The methods we had decided on originally to gather dimensions through walking along the platforms counting steps and multiplying by the size of our steps. Smaller details we had to measure by eye, as well as try to sneakily measure them as we were being watched completly by CityRail staff.
To record for later observations we had decided to take pictures in order to accurately measure material and light. However, before we had even entered into the station (gone past the barriers) we were called out for taking a picture. From then on we had to sneak pictures in order to not get in trouble anymore. We also found the evacuation plans helpful for were stairs and escalotors end up on platforms but had to distract flag guards from watching us take pictures because they would always seem to hung where the flag guard was standing.
